I grew up with a camera in my hand, always documenting my life and loved ones. In 2010, I went on to study Broadcast Journalism at Duquesne University where I fell in love with storytelling through the art of writing, photography and film production. I used what I learned in school and in the early days of my career as a TV news anchor and producer to start my own production company in 2016 with a mission to share positively uplifting stories. By 2017, Shannon Chavez Production was up and running and serving dozens of clients per year. Since then, I’ve documented hundreds of weddings, events and milestones and helped countless leaders and small business owners tell their stories through my film and photography services. Shannon Chavez Production rebranded as The Good Witch in 2023 when I received my coaching certifications and expanded the company into the business it is today.
