With a simple desired to amplify this message in her hometown, Shannon Chavez founded Happy Hippie Foundation PGH in 2023 and started hosting free, outdoor events through the warmer months.

Shannon doesn’t have all the answers, but she believes that good things happen when good people get together and it’s that simple philosophy that’s fueled her actions.

After three years of hosting Golden Hour Get Togethers in Pittsburgh with the support of fellow community leaders, Shannon has passed the torch to David Fisher of The Golden Order to continue the legacy.
