Founder of The Good Witch, Shannon Chavez is a Former News Anchor turned creative entrepreneur and Certified Soul Purpose & Spiritual Life Coach. Shannon’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2016 when she quit her job as a TV news anchor to pursue a career that felt more aligned. Since then, she’s been able to make a living using her creative gifts and now it’s her mission to help others do the same.

Hi, I’m Shannon!
I’m a photographer, filmmaker, DJ, author, and coach—and I’ve built a business that allows me to make a full-time living through my creative expression.
After leaving a demanding career in television news, I started from scratch—bartending, nannying, and rebuilding my life while following what felt good. Within a few years, I turned my photo/video hobby into a thriving business, more than tripling my previous salary and stepping fully into self-employment.
Now, I help other artists do the same.
Through coaching and mentorship, I help people:

I didn’t always know how to turn my creativity into a career.
I used to feel scattered, unsure, and overwhelmed by all the possibilities—like I had so many gifts, but no clear path forward.
It wasn’t until I stopped chasing what I thought I should do and started focusing on how I wanted to feel that everything began to click.
That shift changed everything—and it’s the same shift I now help my clients make.
Today, I help photographers, videographers, musicians, and artists build profitable creative businesses—so they can create freely and live without financial stress.

Over the years, I’ve blossomed into what I like to call a serial entrepreneur—continuously discovering new ways to earn a living doing what I love.
From building my multi-media and coaching business, to opening a studio in Pittsburgh’s Mt. Washington neighborhood, to hosting hundreds of guests through Airbnb—this journey has been about more than creativity.
It’s been about freedom.
But freedom alone isn’t enough.
You also need structure, strategy, and financial clarity.
That’s where Alex comes in.
My husband Alex—founder of AGO Financial LLC—left his role as a corporate Controller to build his own business, helping entrepreneurs earn more, save more, and manage their finances with confidence as a fractional CFO and tax strategist.
Today, he’s not only replaced his income—he’s on track to exceed it—while building a life that offers more flexibility, freedom, and fulfillment.
